Welcome to Essential Escapes Travel (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing this website or purchasing any product or service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

1) Services & Products

Essential Escapes Travel offers:

  • Travel consultations

  • Travel planning packages (planning-only)

  • Optional booking assistance as an add-on (where offered)

  • Affiliate recommendations and curated travel favorites

We do not own or control airlines, hotels, tour operators, transportation providers, or other third-party suppliers.

2) Scope of Services (Planning-Only + Optional Booking Add-On)

Essential Escapes Travel provides planning-only services unless booking assistance is purchased as an add-on or agreed in writing.

Planning-Only Services Include: research, curated recommendations, itinerary creation, and providing booking links/instructions. Client is responsible for booking flights, hotels, transportation, and experiences.

Optional Booking Add-On: If purchased, we can assist with booking select travel components based on your written approval and within the add-on scope. We do not guarantee availability, pricing, upgrades, or supplier outcomes.

Booking Add-On Traveler Count: Booking assistance applies to up to two (2) travelers per trip unless otherwise stated in writing. Additional travelers may require an additional fee.

3) Consultation Call (20 minutes)

Consultations are provided virtually and are intended to clarify trip goals, priorities, and next steps.

Consultation Credit: If you purchase a consultation and then book a planning package, the consultation fee may be applied toward your package total if the package is purchased within 7 days of the consultation. One credit per trip. Credit is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

4) Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, including traveler names (as shown on ID), dates, budgets, preferences, and any constraints. You are responsible for:

  • Passport/visa requirements and validity

  • Health requirements, vaccinations, and medical needs

  • Reviewing supplier policies before booking

  • Confirming all booking details once provided

5) Booking Add-On Terms (If Purchased)

If you purchase booking assistance, you agree to the following:

  • Authorization: You authorize Essential Escapes Travel to make bookings on your behalf based on your written selections/approvals.

  • Payment Method: You must provide a valid payment method for supplier charges. Supplier charges are paid directly by you unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Final Approval: You are responsible for reviewing and approving the final booking details before purchase when approval is requested. If you request us to proceed without additional approvals, you accept responsibility for the outcome.

  • Supplier Terms Apply: All reservations are subject to third-party supplier rules, restrictions, and cancellation policies.

  • Pricing & Availability: Pricing and availability are not guaranteed until booked and may change at any time.

  • No Client Funds Held: We do not hold client funds for travel; all supplier charges are paid directly by the client.

6) Payments & Fees

All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise. You agree to pay all charges at checkout.

Planning/consulting fees cover time and expertise and are separate from supplier costs (flights, hotels, etc.). Any additional revisions, rush requests, or add-on services outside your purchased scope may require an additional fee.

Payment Disputes / Chargebacks: If you dispute a charge or initiate a chargeback for services already delivered or in progress, we reserve the right to provide documentation of work performed and communications to the payment processor. Unresolved chargebacks may result in suspension of services and future booking restrictions.

7) Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

Consultations: You may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations/reschedules within 24 hours or missed appointments (“no-shows”) are non-refundable and may be forfeited.

Planning Packages: Once planning work begins, fees are generally non-refundable due to time reserved and work performed. If a refund is offered in a special circumstance, it may be prorated based on work completed.

Supplier Bookings: Refunds/credits for flights/hotels/tours are governed by the supplier’s policies, not ours.

Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, supplier failures, or technology outages.

8) Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance (trip cancellation/interruption, medical, baggage, etc.). You are responsible for deciding whether coverage is appropriate.

9) Assumption of Risk

Travel involves risks (illness, injury, delays, cancellations, theft, weather events, political changes, supplier failures, etc.). You assume all risks related to travel and agree to take appropriate precautions.

10) No Medical/Legal/Financial Advice

We do not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. Any information provided is for general educational purposes only.

11) Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, copy, and materials are owned by Essential Escapes Travel and protected by intellectual property laws.

12) Affiliate Links & Sponsored Content

Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you click and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. You are responsible for verifying product details and suitability.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Essential Escapes Travel will not be liable for damages arising from:

  • Your use of this website or our services

  • Your travel decisions or experiences

  • Third-party supplier actions/failures

  • Delays, cancellations, disruptions, or denied services

  • Loss, injury, illness, or damages during travel

If liability is found, our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid to us for the specific product or service at issue.

14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Essential Escapes Travel from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the site, your travel, or your violation of these Terms.

15) Privacy

Your use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

16) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.

17) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
